Autumn 2026 Colour Trends You Can Actually Wear

Fashion colour trends are fun to look at. Wearing them in real life can be another matter entirely.

Autumn/Winter 2026 is bringing colour back in a noticeable way. Rich teal, vivid purple, brighter pinks and blues are appearing alongside the chocolate browns, earthy greens and familiar neutrals we naturally return to when the weather changes. Fashion is also moving towards a more playful approach to getting dressed, rather than relying entirely on restrained neutral palettes.

But embracing a new colour doesn't mean buying a purple coat or dressing head to toe in teal.

Accessories are one of the easiest ways to experiment.

Here are some of our favourite colours for Autumn 2026, and how to make them work with the clothes already in your wardrobe.

1. Rich Teal

Somewhere between blue and green, teal manages to feel colourful and sophisticated at the same time.

It's also having a particularly strong moment in 2026, appearing across collections from designers including Alaïa, Saint Laurent, Acne Studios and Loewe.

For autumn, we particularly love teal with:

  • chocolate brown
  • cream
  • camel
  • dark denim
  • burgundy
  • black

You don't need to wear much of it.

Our Tamy Teal earrings combine deep teal with touches of raspberry and gold, giving you the colour without requiring the rest of your outfit to compete.

Wear them with a cream jumper and jeans or against chocolate brown for something richer.

2. Raspberry and Purple

Purple is emerging as one of the strongest colours heading into autumn, with violet and royal purple carrying through from Spring/Summer into Autumn/Winter 2026 collections.

That doesn't mean your wardrobe suddenly needs to become purple.

Raspberry and purple are particularly effective as smaller accents against neutral clothing.

Our Sheila Raspberry earrings mix raspberry and purple with warm gold, making them easy to wear with:

  • cream
  • navy
  • grey
  • black
  • camel
  • chocolate brown

A cream roll neck and jeans suddenly feels completely different when raspberry and purple are sitting next to your face.

3. Earthy Green

Green isn't limited to spring and summer.

For the colder months, softer olive, moss and earthy greens work almost like neutrals themselves.

They're particularly good if your wardrobe already contains beige, camel, cream, brown or denim.

The Sheila Green earrings combine earthy green with cream and gold, so they're a good option if you want colour without something very bright.

Try them with a white shirt and brown trousers, a cream knit or a simple black dress.

4. Chocolate and Earthy Brown

Brown has become much more than an alternative to black.

Chocolate, coffee and other deep earthy shades create a softer autumn palette and provide the perfect background for gold, green, teal and raspberry.

They're also incredibly easy to combine with pieces most of us already own.

The Tamy Brown earrings take that autumn palette and add green, cream and gold details through their sculptural floral design.

The result is statement jewellery that still works beautifully with a neutral wardrobe.

5. Colour Combinations Are Getting More Interesting

Perhaps the most useful Autumn 2026 trend isn't one particular colour.

It's the way colours are being combined.

Unexpected pairings are becoming much more visible. Even turquoise and red has emerged as a notable combination in 2026 fashion.

You don't need to copy runway combinations literally.

Instead, try:

Teal + chocolate brown

Raspberry + cream

Green + camel

Purple + navy

Teal + burgundy

These combinations feel more interesting than simply matching your jewellery to your clothes.

You Don't Have to Wear a Trend Head to Toe

The easiest way to experiment with colour is also the least complicated.

Keep wearing the clothes you already love.

Your favourite jeans. The cream jumper you wear constantly. The black dress that always works. The oversized white shirt.

Then change the accessories.

A small amount of colour close to your face can completely change how an otherwise familiar outfit feels.

And if you discover that teal isn't for you?

That's fine too.

The best colour trend is ultimately the one you'll still want to wear when everyone else has moved on to the next one.
