Material sourcing
We prioritize UK and local suppliers to minimize our carbon footprint. Our suppliers are carefully chosen to ensure ethical and sustainable practices.
Production process
We believe in minimizing waste at every step. Materials from past collections are recycled and incorporated into newer designs whenever possible. Leftover clay is creatively repurposed, reducing clay waste and promoting sustainability. We prefer metal cutters over plastic ones, and our designs are crafted to stand the test of time, moving away from fast fashion trends.
Packaging
Our commitment to sustainability extends to our packaging. We use recyclable materials for all our packaging, including backing cards, tissue paper, cardboard boxes, and paper tape. We avoid plastic envelopes wherever possible, using them only when required for customs purposes.
Energy efficiency
We're mindful of our energy usage. Our clay is baked using a smaller oven to reduce electricity consumption. All equipment is switched off overnight to minimize standby electricity usage.
Customer education
We believe in empowering our customers to make sustainable choices. We encourage recycling of all packaging materials and offer tips on how to care for jewellery without the need for harsh chemicals. We also promote the idea of passing on jewellery to friends or family to extend its lifespan and reduce waste.
